Ryan Raven is a member of the UNC Marching Band. He has been playing the trumpet for several years. He is majoring in music and has performed in many parades such as the Christmas parade and JF Combo.

Ashton Bullard has become a member of the Adult Choir at Evergreen Baptist Church and has been faithfully volunteering her time and effort in practicing and performing in the song services on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.

Jonathan Cribb is in the 11th grade at Grays Creek High School, where he recently received an academic letter. He was a member of the varsity soccer team 2009. He is currently on the varsity baseball team where he is starting catcher and leads his team in batting averages with a 413 average as well as leading in Rbis. He was named to the all conference team 2009, the Cape Fear region team 2009 and also chosen to the state games 2009. Jonathan is an active member of Jesus First Church where he helps lead Praise and Worship and plays the drums, guitar, keyboard, and piano. Jonathans favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13. I can do all things thru Christ Jesus which strengthen me.

Mandy Hawley is a member of the Voices of Heart, a teenage girls' Christian singing group. They travel and sing in churches and at various civic functions. Each year, they host a fundraiser for local children's charities called The Heart of Christmas Show. So far the show has generated over $250,000 for children's charities.

Corey Raven is a starter for the South View varsity football team and is on the wrestling team as well. In between wrestling and football, Corey finds time to be an active member of the music program all the while maintaining a 3.77 GPA. Corey Raven is making the most of his high school experience, athletically, artistically, and academically. We wish him the best of luck.

 

 

    LeCarla and Meghan Royal were recently in Sampson County Theater's production of Annie. Meghan played the part of an orphan, and LeCarla played the piano for the show.
